I love beans in any combination! The Mexican ones sound hot and delicious. Romanians make something similar, but with different flavours (a little more garlicky – one would say we don’t like vampires LOL) I have to try your version to see how the taste differs. Hope you make it to Mexico one day, you’d love it!

Refried beans is one of my favourite meals. In fact we had them last night with a baked sweet potato. Mexican food is so delicious. Will try your recipe next time I make some.

Seriously love these refried beans. I can use it in so many dishes. I love that it’s completely vegan because it’s always a bummer trying to order this at a restaurant. I’m glad I can now make my own!

I loved this recipe! So simple! I had tortillas but don’t like canned refried beans. These were truly yummy!
