25 Awesome Vegan Breakfast Ideas!

Breakfast can be a pain at the best of times, but when you first become plant based, there is a huge void to be filled. If you’re used to having a bacon roll or sausages or eggs or smoked salmon for your first meal of the day, what on earth do you replace this with? I’ve trawled through some of my vegan friend’s blogs, the blogosphere and Pinterest and found 25 delicious vegan breakfast recipes that I think you might enjoy! They range from the super easy, to a more leisurely brunch-type affair.

You can’t start the day without a coffee, and here’s a delicious and easy Iced Coffee Recipe.
You may have seen these skyhigh pancakes on the GBBO or social media and sighed because…egg. Lisa from Okonomi Kitchen (one of my favourite blogs and Instagrammers) veganised this recipe, trying it over 20 times before perfecting it! Thank you Lisa!
This is my own very popular recipe for Banana Peanut Butter Pancakes. The beauty of this is, you don’t need to add too much extra syrup as they are already sweet enough!
For the gluten-free and cooking-phobic amongst you, here’s some super yummy Granola Cups that will fulfill your breakfast needs (and you actually eat the cup too!).
SWEET POTATO SMOOTHIE
“Creamy, dreamy AND vegan, this sweet potato smoothie is basically Thanksgiving in a cup (but why wait until then!)”
BUCKWHEAT PANCAKES WITH POACHED PEARS

I love that just because you have food preferences/intolerances you don’t have to deprive yourself of yummy treats. The lovely people over at Holly Tree Kitchen devised this amazing GF/Vegan/Low Fodmap recipe for crumpets and I for one could not be happier!

One of the easiest breakfasts you can make, and also the most adaptable, you just need a little patience for the Chia Seeds to do their thing!
These fluffy sweet potato breakfast bowls are the perfect paleo and vegan breakfast recipe. They can be eaten hot or cold so it’s the perfect cozy breakfast in the winter or refreshing but hearty recipe for summer.
V FOR VEGANISTA’S NO FAIL EASY LAZY PANCAKES

This is for mornings when you’re feeling a little delicate, or maybe you’ve been overdoing the rich food. I love a comforting broth in the morning, and this is such a beautiful recipe.
